Movement Insights Pilates Teaching Apprenticeship is broken
up into two modules. Course I includes the beginner-intermediate
work and Course II covers the intermediate-advanced work.
Course I is a six-month program requiring completion of 300 apprenticeship hours. Hours consist of lecture, classes, personal workouts, observation, practice teaching and outside reading. The apprenticeship will cover the Classical Pilates Introductory to Intermediate work on the Mat, Reformer, High and Low Chairs, Cadillac, and accessory equipment. Coursework also includes anatomy, teaching methodology and Pilates history and philosophy.

Course II is a four-month program of 200 apprenticeship
hours. Hours consist of lecture, classes, personal workouts,
observation, practice teaching and outside reading. The apprenticeship
will cover the Classical Pilates Intermediate to Advanced
work on the Mat, Reformer, High and Low Chairs, Cadillac,
and accessory equipment. Coursework also includes in-depth
anatomy and teaching methodology. Students must have fully
completed Course I plus an additional 75 teaching hours before
entering the program. Upon completion of apprenticeship hours
and passing practical tests, students are awarded a Course
II (Int-Adv) Teaching Certification.
